Our Tree Farm

We feel very fortunate to be given the opportunity to manage this beautiful property. We have approximately 195 acres,most of which is forested, in Vinton County. Approximately 145 acres are forested in deciduous hardwoods and approximately 50 acres is the home to 40-year-old Eastern White Pine stands. We are currently in the second stage process of having the pine stands thinned. Next we will do a salvage cut in the hardwood area, which means we will be cleaning up some of the trees, which have fallen or become stagnant.
