Our inventory is consistently changing; however, we stock most of the domestic hardwood species and have access to the rest! We do try and keep on hand the items most frequently requested like Red and White Oak, Birch, Poplar, Ash, Hard and Soft Maple, and Cherry. If you need something and you do not see it listed on our inventory, please give us a call and we will try to locate it for you.
AshHeartwood is brown and sapwood is light colored or nearly white.

BirchYellow Birch has white sapwood and light reddish-brown heartwood. Sweet birch has light-colored sapwood and dark brown heartwood tinged with red. This wood is fine and uniform in texture.

CherryThe heartwood of Cherry varies from light to dark reddish brown and has a distinctive luster. The sapwood is nearly white. This wood has a fairly uniform texture. We also offer the following variety of color sorts in Cherry; 1) Super Prime which is 100% Red 1Face, 75% Red Reverse Face, 2) 85/50% Red 1Face, 3) 90% Red 1Face, no color sort on Reverse Face.

Hard MapleSugar Maple and Black Maple are known as Hard Maple. The sapwood of the maples is commonly white with a slight reddish-brown tinge. The heartwood is usually light reddish brown but is sometimes much darker. Hard Maple has a fine, uniform texture. Sometimes the grain of maple can be curly or birdseye. Most of our Hard Maple is color sorted to 1 & 2 White.

HickoryThe heartwood in Hickory ranges from a light brown to reddish brown. This wood tends to have a grainy appearance due to the sudden changes from large to smaller pores. The sapwood is white.

MahoganyThe Khaya species sold as African mahogany ARE part of the mahogany family, but are separate from the Swietenia species of the Americas. The Khaya species tend to be lighter in color, generally more of a salmon/pink in tint, that the Swietenia species, but the color and density are affected by the specific conditions in the area of growth.

PoplarThe Sapwood is sometimes called white poplar. The sapwood is white and the heartwood is yellowish brown, sometimes streaked with purple, green, black, blue, or red. The wood is generally straight grained and uniform in texture.

Red OakThe heartwood of Red Oak ranges in color from a light wheat to a dark pink, whereas the sapwood is nearly white. Red Oak has open grains. Quarter-sawn material is very attractive and is distinguished by broad and very visible rays. In Red Oak, we have available a variety of color-sorted material. If you need uniform color for a specific job, the color-sort stock might be just what you need!

Soft MapleSilver Maple, Red Maple and Boxelder are known as Soft Maple.

WalnutThe heartwood of walnut varies from light to dark brown and the sapwood is nearly white. Walnut is normally straight grained. All of our walnut stock is steamed.

White OakThe heartwood of White Oak is generally grayish brown and the sapwood is nearly white. The grain of the heartwood is usually closed.
